Touring New Cities Safely

When was the last time you traveled to a foreign place? About a year ago, I started thinking about different ways to enjoy new cities without the fear of being attacked or robbed, so I began focusing more and more on learning what I needed to before I headed out. It was really interesting to see how much of a difference it made to do a little reading before I boarded a plane, and I have to be honest, some travel tips have saved me more than once. I wanted to make an easy-to-read website about touring new cities safely, so I made this blog.

Are You Headed To The Grand Canyon For Your Family Reunion?

Is this the summer that you will finally be going to the Grand Canyon for your family reunion? From putting out the word to arranging for tours of the majestic canyon, here are some ideas that might help you to plan an enjoyable and memorable family reunion.

Putting Out The Word

Were you the person in charge of selecting this summer's place where your family reunion would be held? Perhaps you selected the Grand Canyon as a group during last summer's family reunion. Whatever the case might be, you are more than likely anxious to get the word out of specifics that your family members will need to know before they head out.

For example, even though you have probably emailed and texted back and forth regarding plans, it's also a good idea to have everything in writing. Consider creating an information page with a picture of the Grand Canyon as part of the design. Include specifics like exact dates to where you will be staying. Remind each of the family members to take super comfortable shoes, preferably a back up pair in case the first pair doesn't work out. Another thing that people might forget is a light jacket or sweater, as mornings and evenings might be cool.

Arranging A Bus Tour

Have you considered arranging for a VIP Grand Canyon bus tour? Those are often planned for conventions and corporate events, but that doesn't mean that your own family can't arrange one, too. After all, each of you is a very important person, right? By arranging for a Grand Canyon bus tour, you'll be able to see the majestic sights in style.

Your bus will have huge picture windows that will allow you to take pictures of the panorama. In fact, the bus will probably stop at strategic places where you can get out to do a bit of hiking and picture taking. There will be a guide on the bus that will give you important historic facts and other information that will add interest to your trip to the Grand Canyon. Being part of a bus tour also means that you won't have to worry about finding parking space for all of the cars your family will be driving.

As you plan for your Grand Canyon family reunion, consider ordering T-shirts for each member that will be attending. Choose something like "Grand Canyon Or Bust!"  as part of the design of the shirt.
