Touring New Cities Safely

When was the last time you traveled to a foreign place? About a year ago, I started thinking about different ways to enjoy new cities without the fear of being attacked or robbed, so I began focusing more and more on learning what I needed to before I headed out. It was really interesting to see how much of a difference it made to do a little reading before I boarded a plane, and I have to be honest, some travel tips have saved me more than once. I wanted to make an easy-to-read website about touring new cities safely, so I made this blog.

Are You Eager to See the Angels Play? 3 Reasons to Look For Hotels Close to Anaheim Stadium

Avid baseball fans can spot the Angel Stadium from a mile away. Known as the home of the Los Angeles Angels, the stadium also hosts other sports competitions, concerts, and special events throughout the year. Whether you're about to watch a classic ball game or happen to want to check this stadium off of your must-see list after taking a tour, finding hotels close to Anaheim Stadium can offer the following benefits and enrich your upcoming vacation plans.

Avoid the Dreaded Parking Lot

Typically, the parking lot will open about two and a half hours before the expected start of the official first pitch. While this may sound like plenty of time, you could find that you need every minute to find your spot and make it to the gates before the opening pitch. Considering that the stadium seats thousands of people, getting out of the parking lot at the end of the game can also turn into a stressful situation. Many hotels near the stadium have parking garages and are within walking distance so that you can simply walk on up to the gate without visiting the crowded parking lot.

Keep Your Drive Short and Sweet

If you do decide to drive to the game, you'll still be grateful that you chose a nearby hotel that helps you to avoid getting lost. A shorter drive also helps you to avoid getting stuck in traffic or dealing with an accident that could delay your arrival. Many hotels only take a few minutes of driving to reach the stadium which gives you more time to enjoy your time in Anaheim. You might even be able to find options for working out group rides from your hotel if you are traveling with a crowd.

Increase Your Fun by Visiting Other Attractions

Many Angels games end when the day or night is still young. If you stay at a hotel that is further away, then you'll have less time to get out and enjoy having even more fun. Hotels near Anaheim stadium are also surrounded by exciting venues such as sports bars, breweries, restaurants, and indoor concert venues. You may even be able to bundle some attractions into your stay, which can allow you to visit other hot spots such as Knott's Berry Farm or Disneyland. If you are looking to fill your itinerary, then you won't have to go far from your hotel to discover multiple options for making your vacation an amazing experience.
